TAYLORSVILLE, Utah, Nov. 16, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are investigating an early morning home invasion that ended with one man hospitalized at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray.

Unified police officers were called out about 3:30 a.m. Thursday after a 21-year-old male showed up with a gunshot wound at a Taylorsville ER.

Investigators say the man was shot in the leg during a confrontation with two others who had forced their way inside a home at 4917 Greentree Way.

It’s unclear if the suspects and victim know each other.

The wounded man was transported from St. Mark’s ER in Taylorsville to IMC where he was reported in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.

A neighbor who asked to not be identified told Gephardt Daily the house was the site of suspicious activity with people coming and going at odd hours.

Police are currently looking for the alleged shooters.

Gephardt Daily will update the story as more information becomes available.
