The Federation of Genealogical Societies is bringing a special genealogy event to the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, February 11–14, 2015.

What makes this event so appealing is that the FGS and RootsTech are both teaming up and shared facilities mean this year’s event may possibly be the biggest ever at a U.S. genealogy conference. They will both share the expo hall, general sessions, activities, and more while each conference offers their own program of sessions.

FGS sessions will focus on methodology, records, ethnic research, and migration. RootsTech will offer a program of technology-based solutions for the genealogy needs of both individuals and societies.

There will be plenty to see and do every day throughout the conference center. General Sessions at the start of each day will be an inspirational way to get things going. Evening activities will bring each day full circle with shared events for all FGS and RootsTech attendees.
