Gifts From Around the World

There are many different types of people out in the world that come from different backgrounds, have different ethnicities and even different religions. What gift, for this holiday season, are you going to get for your friend, family member or even a co-worker who is very religious? We have some of the top presents for a few different religions so take a look and maybe even take one home.

 Christian

Christian

For anyone who is religious and practices Christianity we have a beautiful Bible Verse Sterling Silver Pendant. Each letter is a hand stamped Bible Verse citation on a beautiful sterling silver disc. This is not an engraved piece of jewelry but rather a delicate hand crafted sterling silver pendant. The disc pendant is about 7/8” round and then is gently cupped for a delicate touch that catches the light just perfectly. This pendant also includes an 18” sterling silver chain, a complimentary laminated Prayer Card that will have the Bible Verse on it and a gorgeous velvet-lined gift box.

Religious Gifts - Gephardt Daily

Buddhism

Buddhism is an ancient religion and philosophy that is most commonly about finding peace within oneself. It is a religion that helps us to find the happiness and contentment we seek. Buddhists develop inner peace, kindness and wisdom through their daily practice; and then share their experience with others beginning real benefit to this world. So our gift for a Buddhist is the Mandala Workbook for Inner Self-Discovery. Mandala is derived from a Sanskrit word, and is a universal symbol of wholeness found in almost every culture around the world. This book shares the methods that the author has developed over the course of a decade for creating these symbols of wholeness and balance — and teaches readers how to make their own.

JewishJewish

The best gift that we could find for someone who is Jewish is the “Keep Calm and Eat Latkes” plate. This glass plate is the perfect addition to any ones Chanukah table. The Latke platter with a whimsical message and menorah design is sure to brighten any persons holiday. Now the only down side to having this 10” by 10” glass plate is that it does have to be hand washed or the writing that is printed on it might come off.

Islam

Most Muslims celebrate the holiday called Ramadan instead of Christmas so even though you might not see a Christmas tree or lights up some of them do give out gifts just to enjoy the holiday season. The top Islamic or Muslim gift that we could find was an Islamic Canvas Art Frames, some wall décor. These canvases reflect the universal appeal of Islam. The Quranic text has been places on a modern backdrop to signify the eternal appeal of Islam; without barriers of time, culture or geography. They are beautiful pieces of art and whoever you decide to get one for is sure to love it.

Ganesh

Hindu

Ganesh Statue, that is our number one present that we found for someone who practices the religion Hinduism.  It is just under 1.25 inches tall but there is excellent detail in the deity statue with patina. There is a snake wrapped around his body, a head dress, his traditional one full tusk, and bracelets. The Ganesh is hand cast and hand finished. Available in gold-color brass with very dark patina, or silver-color brass and there is no lead or nickel in the statue.

Remember that there are plenty of other gifts out there but these were the most purchased gift of the year 2014.So go ahead and grab one of these perfect gifts and let us know how your friend, family member, or co-worker liked it. And have a happy holiday.
