The Canadian pop star has recently completed a series of promotions for his newest album, Purpose. Appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show for an entire week and taking part in interviews discussing everything from his former relationship with Selena Gomez and his struggle with childhood fame.

Speaking with Billboard in early November, Bieber admitted fame almost “destroyed” him. “Situations happen that taint your mind,” he said. “I started going through the motions. I felt like people were judging me all the time. I came out alive. I came out swinging. But I was close to letting [fame] completely destroy me.”
