May 30 (UPI) — South Korean boy band BTS fulfilled a dream Tuesday with its debut on the Billboard Hot 100.

The K-pop group reached No. 10 on the chart for the week of June 2 with its new single “Fake Love.”

BTS is the first K-pop group to appear on the Billboard Hot 100. South Korean singer Psy previously reached No. 2 on the chart with “Gangnam Style” in 2012.

BTS member Suga had voiced hopes in February of appearing on the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time.

“Our goal for this year is to enter Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, and personally, I want to collaborate with other artists or release my own music,” the 25-year-old singer said.

BTS also topped the Billboard 200 chart for the week of June 2 with its album “Love Yourself: Tear.” The album, which debuted May 18, includes “Fake Love” and 10 other tracks, including a new collaboration with Steve Aoki.
