WASHINGTON, April 12 (UPI) — The first four episodes of the fifth season of HBO’s “Game of Thrones” have been leaked prior to the season’s Sunday premiere.

The leaked videos were downloaded more than 100,000 times in three hours and have now been downloaded more than a million times. The videos are apparently review copies sent to the press.

“Game of Thrones” is the most pirated television show, with seven million illegal downloads within the first three months of this year.

The leaked videos are displayed at a 480p resolution, about the same quality of a standard television, and have a blurred digital watermark. HBO runs the show in 720p or 1080p resolution. The fifth season will have 10 episodes.

The leak was found on public torrent sites including The Pirate Bay and also comes before the anticipated release of HBO’s streaming service HBO Now.
