March 24 (UPI) — Leah Remini is reuniting with her “The King of Queens” husband Kevin James on James’ new sitcom “Kevin Can Wait,” CBS confirmed Friday.

Remini will guest star on the show’s two-part, Season 1 finale. The episodes are to air May 1 and 8.

“Kevin agrees to come out of retirement briefly to reprise his undercover assignment in an ongoing police investigation where he and fellow cop Vanessa Cellucci will, once again, pose as husband and wife,” a press release revealed.

“Kevin Can Wait” co-stars Erinn Hayes, Taylor Spreitler, Mary-Charles Jones, James DiGiacomo, Ryan Cartwright, Lenny Venito, Gary Valentine and Leonard Earl Howze. The family comedy was renewed this week for the 2017-18 television season.

“The King of Queens” ran for nine seasons from 1998 to 2007.
