LOS ANGELES, Jan. 4 (UPI) — Lea Michele kicked off 2017 nude.
The 30-year-old actress celebrated the new year by posting a naked picture Sunday on Instagram.
“Loving you so far 2017, she captioned the snapshot.
Michele previously stripped down for the September 2016 issue of Women’s Health U.K. She revealed in the interview that she started working out after “Glee” came to a close in 2015 after a six-season run.
“[Being naked] isn’t really an issue for me,” the star told the magazine. “Right now, I feel physically in my best shape and emotionally in my best place.”
“Initially I didn’t think that I would get into [exercise],” she admitted. “For me, working out has to be good for my mind, too, and when I leave, the endorphins are buzzing, I’m glowing and I feel like I can take on the world.”
Michele told People at an #aerieREAL event in December that she is “proud” of herself and of her appearance. The Aerie campaign features models in un-retouched ads.
“I’ve always had a platform coming off of being on ‘Glee,’ of just really being proud of who I am and what I look like and my uniqueness and embracing that,” she said. “I think that Aerie is such an amazing brand for young girls to see campaigns where they see girls for what they really look like.”
Michele is known for playing Rachel Berry on “Glee,” and has since portrayed Hester Ulrich on “Scream Queens.” “Scream Queens” completed a second season on Fox in December.
