LOS ANGELES, Dec. 30, 2015 (UPI) — Mark Salling was arrested for alleged possession of child pornography Tuesday.

Crime Watch Daily reported the Los Angeles Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force unit obtained a warrant to search the 33-year-old actor’s Sunland, Calif., home.

According to TMZ, the unit took Salling into custody after discovering “hundreds of images” on his computer. Sources told the website one of the actor’s ex-girlfriends tipped police off to the reported photos.

Salling was sued in 2013 by a woman who claimed he committed sexual battery, but settled the case out of court. Model Roxanne Gorzela, who dated the actor from 2010 to 2011, alleged the actor forced her to have sex without a condom in March 2011.

Salling is best known for playing Noah “Puck” Puckerman on Fox series Glee, which came to a close after six seasons in March. He will next appear in the HBO television movie Adi Shankar’s Gods and Secrets in 2016.
