BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Sept. 24 (UPI) — Actor Marlon Wayans and director Michael Tiddes are reuniting for Netflix’s romantic comedy “Naked,” a re-make of the Swedish film “Naken.”

Wayans penned the screenplay for the movie along with Cory Koller and Rick Alvarez. Production is to begin in Charleston, S.C. next month and the flick is slated to debut on the subscription streaming service in 2017.

Regina Hall, who appeared alongside Wayans in the “Scary Movie” franchise, will co-star in “Naked.” Wayans and Tiddes previously collaborated on “Fifty Shades of Black,” “A Haunted House” and “A Haunted House 2.”

“The response I’ve gotten from fans worldwide to my films on Netflix has been overwhelming, and I’m thrilled to be working with them on an original film. Also, I’m excited to be working with Regina again,” said Wayans in a statement.
