June 7 (UPI) — Danny Dias, a former star on MTV’s “Road Rules” and “The Challenge,” has been found dead inside his Brooklyn apartment at the age of 34.

The New York Police Dept. confirmed to Us Weekly that officers responding to a 911 call found Dias unconscious and unresponsive Saturday.

“The EMS responded and pronounced the male deceased at the scene. No criminality suspected at this time. The Medical Examiner is going to determine the cause of death. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing,” police said in a statement.

A friend of Dias’ claims that he witnessed the reality star take what he believes to be LSD and mushrooms before he became freaked out and ran into his room, TMZ reported. Two days later, when the friend still hadn’t heard from Dias, they called police.

Dias starred in Season 13 of “Road Rules” in 2004. He then appeared on “The Challenge” in 2005 and was eliminated after four episodes.
