March 4 (UPI) — Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman has given birth to her second child.
E! News reported Portman and her husband Benjamin Millepied welcomed a baby girl, Amalia Millepied, on Feb. 22.
“Mother and baby are happy and healthy,” the actress’ representative told The Hollywood Reporter.
The “Black Swan” collaborators are also the parents of a 5-year-old son named Aleph.
Portman did not attend last weekend’s Independent Spirit Awards or Oscars ceremonies as she initially planned. Even into the third trimester of her pregnancy, the actress had been a fixture on the 2016-17 awards-show circuit as a nominee for her portrayal of American first lady Jackie Kennedy in “Jackie.”
