April 9 (UPI) — Music superstar Ricky Martin is to play Antonio D’Amico, the partner of murdered fashion designer Gianni Versace, in the third installment of FX’s anthology series “American Crime Story.”
Variety reported the casting news Friday.
The 10-part drama will see Edgar Ramirez play Versace and Darren Criss portray serial killer Andrew Cunanan, TVGuide.com noted. Cunanan fatally shot the designer in 1997.
Co-starring Penelope Cruz as Donatella Versace, FX’s “Versace: American Crime Story” is to debut in 2018.
