Sundance: Beyond Park City
Most people associate the Sundance Film Festival with Park City. But for locals, it can be much more convenient to attend movies and events in Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance Mountain Resort. Here’s the lowdown on each.
The 10-day Festival hosts more than 40,000 people a year and spreads out across four cities: Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and the Sundance Mountain Resort. Each city is separated by a short drive (30 to 75 minutes), so make sure to select your screening tickets in the city where you’ll be located for most of the Festival.

Sundance Mountain Resort Parking
Parking is complimentary to Sundance Film Festival attendees. Early arrival is recommended.
Salt Lake City Parking
Rose Wagner Theatre
There is metered parking available around the Rose Wagner Center (free after 8:00 p.m. and on weekends). Parking is available across the street from the Rose Wagner Center. Cash fee per entry.

Broadway Theatres
Parking at the Broadway is located in a garage next to the building on 300 South. If you are attending a film at the Sundance Film Festival, please park on levels four through eight and pay for parking at the discounted Sundance Film Festival Rate.
Tower Theatre
Street parking is available in front of the Tower Theatre or on surrounding streets.
Salt Lake Library Theatre
Parking is available at the Salt Lake Library in the underground garage accessed from eastbound 400 South between 200 and 300 East. Parking in this city-operated facility is free for the first half-hour, then $1.50 per half-hour after that. Any vehicle displaying a disability special group license plate or disability windshield placard may park in the parking garage at Library Square for two hours with no charge. Additional time beyond the two hours is $1.50 per half-hour.
Ogden Parking
Ampco Systems Parking, at 2424 Kiesel Ave, is half a block east from Peery’s and offers direct access from the parking garage. Street parking is free after 6:00 p.m.
