‘Superior Donuts,’ ‘Life in Pieces’ among CBS’ 18 renewals for 2017-18

March 24 (UPI) — CBS says it has renewed 18 series for the 2017-18 television season.

Additional pick-ups for next season are expected to be announced at a later date, the network said.

So far, “The Big Bang Theory,” “Blue Bloods,” “Bull,” “Hawaii Five-0,” “Kevin Can Wait,” “Life in Pieces” and “MacGyver” are confirmed to return.

Also renewed are “Madam Secretary,” “Man with a Plan,” “Mom,” “NCIS,” “NCIS: New Orleans,” “Scorpion,” “Superior Donuts,” “Survivor,” “48 Hours” and “60 Minutes.”

The futures of “Training Day,” “Criminal Minds,” “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders,” “Doubt” and “Elementary” have not yet been officially revealed.
