‘The Last Witch Hunter’ Releases First Teaser Trailer

LOS ANGELES, April 30 (UPI) — Vin Dieselstars in a first teaser trailer for The Last Witch Hunter.

The 47-year-old actor portrays Kaulden, an immortal witch hunter tasked with stoppingNew York City’s covens from unleashing a plague on humanity. The preview sees the character team up with an unlikely partner — a beautiful witch named Chloe (Rose Leslie).
Michael Caine also stars as Father Dolan, with Elijah Wood as the 37th Dolan and Julie Engelbrecht as the Witch Queen. The movie is directed by Breck Eisner (The Crazies), and opens in theaters October 23.
Diesel last appeared as Dominic Toretto in Furious 7, and will reprise the character forFurious 8 in 2017. Leslie is best known for playing Gwen on ITV period drama Downton Abbey and Ygritte on HBO series Game of Thrones.
