jordanlOur film critic Tony Toscano ran into Jordan Lieberher of “St. Vincent” at the Critics’ Choice Awards. The film tells the story of Vincent (Bill Muuary), a Vitenam vet who’s hedonistic ways have left with without money or a future, who sees an opportunity when the new next door neighbor’s son son Oliver (Leberher) needs a babysitter and and Vincent off to watch him for a fee. An unexpected friendship forms as Vincent mentors Oliver in street survival and Oliver begins to see more to the old man than anyone suspects.

“The Critics’ Choice Movie Awards”, which screened on A&E last night, are bestowed annually by the BFCA and BTJA to honor the finest in cinematic and television achievement.

The BFCA is the largest film critics’ organization in the United States and Canada, representing almost 300 television, radio and online critics.
