NEW YORK, July 11 (UPI) — Actress and comedian Whoopi Goldberg says she will return as moderator of “The View” for another season.
“Ok NOW it’s official, I have re-upped for 1 year returning to @TheView 4 the 2016/2017 season. Will continue 2 annoy some, delight others,” Goldberg tweeted, confirming she will continue in the job she has had since 2007.
ABC’s multi-host, daytime chat show is wrapping up its 19th season. Who will serve on the panel with Goldberg next season remains unclear at this time. The current lineup also includes Raven-Symoné, Candace Cameron Bure and Paula Faris.
