NORTH OGDEN, Utah, Nov. 29, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — A man who died after a three-vehicle crash in North Ogden Tuesday afternoon has been identified.

The deceased is Gregory Jensen, 57, from North Ogden, said police in a news release.

North Ogden Police Department said that at about 12:20 p.m., officials were dispatched to the crash at 2300 N. 400 East. The preliminary investigation indicates that a white Jeep Cherokee turned left from 2300 North to go southbound on 400 East, striking a red Suzuki Sidekick that was southbound on 400 East.

The impact caused the driver of the Suzuki to lose control. The Suzuki then crossed the center median and rolled into northbound traffic, where it struck a gray Hyundai Sonata that was travelling northbound. The Suzuki came to rest on its right side and the Hyundai struck a tree and came to rest on the parking strip in front of 2284 N. 400 East.

Jensen, the driver of the Suzuki, was declared dead at the scene.

The adult female driver of the Hyundai was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Jeep was uninjured and is cooperating with investigators.

Possible charges are pending the final outcome of the investigation.

All roads affected by the crash were re-opened by 4:30 p.m.
