18-year-old in Critical Condition After Drive by Shooting in Ogden

OGDEN, UTAH – August 20, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – An Ogden 18-year-old was taken to hospital in critical condition after being shot in a drive by shooting Thursday afternoon.

Ogden Police officers were dispatched to a shooting in the area of 2300 VanBuren Avenue. Once officers were on scene they found an 18 year old male victim had been shot multiple times.

The victim was treated on scene by OFD Medical Personnel then transported to an area hospital by ambulance in critical condition.

The unknown suspect(s) left northbound on VanBuren Avenue in a silver car. No further description is available.

Ogden-Metro Gang and Major Crimes Detectives are conducting the investigation.
Police said the 2300 block of VanBuren Avenue is closed and access is limited. They are asking the public to please use an alternate route.
