MILLCREEK, Utah, Nov. 8, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — A two-car crash in Millcreek toppled a power pole and brought power lines down into the road Wednesday morning.

The Unified Police Department tweeted at 9 a.m. that Rocky Mountain Power was responding to the incident.

As a result of the crash, 700 E. northbound was closed between 2900 and 3100 South, the tweet said.

There were only very minor injuries as a result of the accident, the UPD said.

The department tweeted at 10:30 a.m. that two northbound lanes are now open on 700 East, but two northbound lanes are still shut down while the utility company makes repairs.

Gephardt Daily will have more on this developing story as information becomes available.
