SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Jan. 23, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are looking for two men who robbed the One Stop Smoke Shop, at 1427 S. 300 West, on Tuesday night.

Salt Lake City Police Lt. Russ Amott told Gephardt Daily the two suspects entered the store just after 7 p.m.

One man had a gun and the other had a knife. They grabbed several cartons of cigarettes and then went to the back room and took the cash box. One of the men demanded that the clerks give him all the cash in the till.

Amott said the area has a lot of traffic, so it wasn’t known if the suspects had a vehicle waiting somewhere nearby.

No one was injured in this aggravated robbery.

Police were interviewing witnesses and will be reviewing all available surveillance video, Amott said.

The suspect who had the gun was described as Caucasian, mid-30s, about 5 feet 11 inches tall, with black hair, wearing a heavy gray coat with a hoodie, jeans and a face mask.

The man with the knife was described as Hispanic, mid-30s, about 5 feet 11 inches tall, with black hair, wearing a heavy red coat, jeans and a face mask.

Both were described as “scruffy-looking.”
