American Airlines Flight Diverted to Salt Lake City for Hydraulic Issues

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – APRIL 9, 2015 – (GEPHARDT DAILY) US Airways flight  504 in route to  Vancouver from Phoenix was diverted to Salt Lake City International Airport late Wednesday night out of an “abundance of caution due to a hydraulic warning indication.

According to the media relations department at American Airlines, the crew did request priority handling into the airport out of caution but the flight landed without incident.

“The aircraft is being inspected by maintenance and we are re-accommodating passengers on another aircraft to Vancouver.” Says Briana with American Airlines. She also confirmed there were 130 passengers, 5 crew members that were diverted to an alternate flight to get them to their destination.

That flight is scheduled to depart shortly.
