WEST HAVEN, Utah, May 9, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — The Weber County Sheriff’s Office has made two arrests after the hit and run that killed an elderly West Haven man on May 5.

Harry Green, 82, of West Haven, died at the scene after being struck by a vehicle near 4000 South and about 4350 West at about 10:45 p.m. Green had been walking along the side of the road.

A Weber County Sheriff’s Office statement released Tuesday said that accident information gathered led detectives to a Hooper residence, where they located a silver Dodge Durango with front passenger side and windshield damage.

The suspects were not located at that time. The vehicle was seized and taken to the Weber County Sheriff’s Office.

On Monday, detectives went back to the residence and arrested Cody Sanders and girlfriend Noelle Bradbury, both 27. Officers determined that Sanders was the driver and Bradbury was a passenger, according to the statement.

Sanders was booked into the Weber County Correctional Facility for leaving the scene of an accident involving a death and for obstruction of justice, both third-degree felonies. Bradbury was booked for obstruction of justice.
