OGDEN, Utah, Aug. 9, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — The cause of death of an Ogden man whose body was found Sunday evening in the yard of his father’s apartment building remains unknown, but it was not trauma, according to autopsy results.

Officers from the Weber County Sheriff’s office are now waiting for the results of toxicology tests on the body of Chad Tyes, 34, hoping they reveal his cause of death.

Lt. Jason Talbot told Gephardt Daily on Sunday that deputies were called to the Shady Lane Apartments at 1434 N. 900 West at about 7:20 p.m. with reports of a suspicious death.

When officers arrived, they found a male, now identified as Tyes, deceased in the front yard of an apartment.
