Mom And Six-Year-Old Daughter Injured In Millcreek Auto Pedestrian Accident

MILLCREEK, UTAH – Nov. 30, 2015 – (Gephardt Daily) Unified Police are on the scene of an auto-pedestrian accident involving a mom and her six-year-old daughter.

According to Unified Police spokesman Lt. Lex Bell, the accident happened Monday around 9:00 a.m. near 900 East and 3300 South, when the mom and daughter were struck by a car as they tried to cross 3300 South.

Officers on the scene say the mother and child were in the crosswalk when they were hit by a driver making a left-hand turn.

The mother was taken to Intermountain Medical Center in serious condition. Her daughter was hospitalized in fair condition.

Investigators are still trying to determine how the accident happened.
