Brigham Young University Misspells Days Of ’47 Float
PROVO, UTAH – July 21, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — There may be no “i” in the word team, but there is in the word “education.”
The folks who put together Brigham Young University’s Pioneer Day float are learning that the hard way, after a spelling gaff caught on camera and shared on social media started generating snickers worldwide.
The spelling error was first noticed during a preview party Monday at the South Towne Expo Center in Sandy. University of Utah graduate student Chad Mortenson posted a photo of the float on Facebook and it’s now being shared on Twitter and other social media outlets across the planet.
