Credit Cards Stolen From Elderly Women

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – August 11, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Two elderly females, one in Cottonwood Heights and one in Murray, had their wallets stolen while they were shopping for groceries on July 30, police said.

Cottonwood Heights Police Department said in a statement a male suspect would bump into them to distract them and then he took their wallet out of their purse. The victim’s credit cards were then used at Target, Home Depot and Game Stop in Cottonwood Heights.

A female suspect was able to purchase over $2,000 in gift cards using the stolen credit cards.

The female using the stolen credit cards was wearing a white shirt and black pants. The male suspect that stole the wallets was wearing a yellow shirt and khaki shorts.
