SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, March 2, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Drivers are being asked to avoid the area of a two-vehicle accident in which an 18-wheeler rolled in Salt Lake City.

Salt Lake City Police are still piecing together what occurred, but it appears the incident involved the 18-wheeler and a dump truck, according to Detective Robert Ungricht.

There were no injuries in the crash on northbound 5600 West at California Avenue (1400 South), which occurred at about noon, Ungricht said.

Police have not yet said exactly what occurred, or revealed the speeds at which the vehicles were traveling.

Drivers are being asked to avoid the area until approximately 2:15 p.m. while the 18-wheeler is moved.

Gephardt Daily will have more on this developing story as information becomes available.
