FBI: Reward offered for arrest of drug trafficking suspect

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Oct. 20, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — The Salt Lake City office of the FBI has announced a reward of up to $2,500 for the arrest of Jason Mehl, wanted on suspicion of heroin trafficking in Utah and Montana.

A federal arrest warrant was issued for Mehl in Montana last month after he was charged with conspiracy to distribute heroin, possession with intent to distribute heroin and forfeiture.

Mehl’s last known residence was in Helena, Montana, but he lived in Utah in 2016 until January, 2017.  He also has family in Salt Lake County, and is known to frequent the state.

Mehl is 43 or 44 years old (he has used different birthdays), has brown eyes, and stands 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall. He weighs about 180 pounds. He is white, and has tattoos on both shoulders and forearms, on his upper right arm and his right calf.
