FORT DUCHESNE, Utah, May 7, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Officials believe suspect Bradley James Moore, wanted after a shooting Sunday in Fort Duchesne, may have fled the area after getting a ride in a car.

A Facebook post that went up at about 7 a.m. Monday from the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the Duchesne Police Department updated the investigation.

“The suspect is still not in custody,” the post says. “Officers have exhausted all reports and have searched extensively for almost 30 hours.

“We have a report that he could have been given a ride out of the area. We are actively working this case. Please report any information about this suspect that you know. We will have officers in the area around Eagle View and other schools just as a precaution.”

Police have not released many details in the shooting case, including the name, gender or condition of the victim.

The initial post on Sunday said Moore was last seen running from the scene of the shooting, and should be considered armed and dangerous.

That post also said Moore is not originally from the area, and it urged people who may see the suspect not to approach him, and to call law officers.

The department’s number is 435-722-2012.
