SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Nov. 1, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Police at the University of Utah are reviewing footage from surveillance cameras around campus after an aggravated rape that occurred on campus Monday afternoon.

The incident occurred at about 12:15 p.m. in the parking lot of the Merrill Engineering Building, at 50 S. Central Campus Drive, according to police. A map showing the approximate location of the truck was released Thursday.

Authorities say there are no suspects in the case at this time.

The U of U Department of Public Safety sent an email out Monday that said when the victim got into her vehicle, which was parked in the lot, the suspect forced her into the backseat at gunpoint and sexually assaulted her. He then left the parking lot on foot. The suspect is 6 feet tall, and was dressed in black and wearing a Halloween mask.

A photo of the victim’s red Toyota Tundra, in which she was raped, was released Thursday in the hope that someone may remember having seen it and any suspicious activity nearby.
