Climber carried from Stewart Falls with leg fracture

UTAH COUNTY, Utah, Aug. 13, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — A climber was carried from Stewart Falls above Sundance with a compound fracture to his leg Sunday, officials said.

The 35-year-old man fell about 30 feet from the falls in the incident, which occurred just after 11:10 a.m., Sgt. Spencer Cannon, Utah County Sheriff’s Office spokesman, said in a tweet.

Utah County Search and Rescue responded and carried the man from Stewart Falls. He was transported by ground ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.
