LAYTON, Utah, June 9, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Drivers are being asked to avoid the area of Hill Air Force base Friday morning after two people were injured in a wreck.
Details are still emerging, but initial reports indicate a medical helicopter was called to assist at approximately 9 a.m. Friday. The exact extent of the injuries and the circumstances surrounding the crash have yet to be released.
Davis County Sheriff’s Office is assisting Layton Police and Fire on scene.
Hill Air Force Base is located just south of the city of Ogden, and near the town of Layton. It is about 30 miles north of Salt Lake City.
