SLC Police looking for suspect, stolen car after aggravated burglary

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Oct. 23, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Salt Lake City Police officials are looking for a suspect after an aggravated burglary that occurred Monday morning.

SLCPD spokesman Sgt. Brandon Shearer told Gephardt Daily the incident occurred at a home near 1800 S. Foothill Dr. at 9:38 a.m.

The female resident of the home told police she answered the door to find a man brandishing a gun at her. She was the only person home at the time, Shearer said. She told police the man then entered the home and stole two guns, other personal items and the woman’s car, a 2007 Honda Pilot with the license plate 992 PJE.

Shearer said the man was described as Caucasian, about 6 feet tall and 200 pounds, approximately 30 years old, wearing a black hat.
