Hundreds of Sheep Killed In Utah Roll Over Crash
CEDAR CITY, UT – March 21, 2015 – Gephardt Daily
More than one hundred sheep were killed late Thursday night when a semi-truck hauling two livestock trailers overturned on State Route 56 about ten miles west of Cedar City.
According to the Utah Highway Patrol 121 sheep died in the accident.
The driver of the truck, whose name has yet to be released, was taken to Valley View Medical Center in Cedar City with minor injuries.
Investigator say they still don’t why the driver lost control of his rig. They believe a mechanical issue could be to blame.
