SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, March 7, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Beehive Clothing, which makes the garments and temple clothing for LDS Church members who have been through sacred ceremonies in one of the church’s 149 temples, will offer new garment options for women.

Based on feedback from female members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Beehive Clothing will offer a choice of waist placement in the knee-length garments. In addition, users will be able to choose from the traditional chemise-style tops and a new, square-neck top.

Natural waist options

According to information from LDS.org, the natural waist bottoms already can be purchased in some parts of the world, and will be available globally by April of this year.

New features will include additional ease through waist, hips, seat and legs, according to LDS.org, and will be available in all the current fabrics.

Low Waist garment bottoms

Low waist garment bottoms will be introduced globally between now and June of this year. They are designed to sit just above the upper part of the hip, and will feature the same fit improvements as the natural waist bottoms. They also will be available in current fabric choices.

Square Neck garment tops

The square neck garment tops will feature different cup size options for more accurate fit, a neck design to improve shoulder fit, raglan sleeve that lie flat under clothing, and a longer length to ensure full coverage with the new garment bottoms.

Inspection and return policies

LDS.org says at a Distribution Services or Deseret Book store, endowed members may ask to try on a garment if needed. Garment purchasers who are not yet endowed may ask an associate for assistance with visually inspecting a garment out of the package.

In addition, garments can be returned even after the package has been opened. When possible, garments should be returned within 90 days of purchase.

For details about returning garments that are discontinued or very old, please see an associate. If a store is not convenient, call the Global Service Center.

For more information about updated garments, including illustrations of garment designs, please check store.lds.org, visit your local Distribution Services store, or call the Global Service Center.
