Police in Southern Utah ask public’s help identifying mail-theft suspect

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Utah, April 25, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — The Santa Clara-Ivins Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a man they believe is involved with recent mail thefts.

According to police, the suspect is Caucasian, between 20 and 30 years old and, in surveillance photos, is wearing a red and black jacket with a gray hat underneath, blue or black track pants and white shoes.

Officials believe a blue SUV is also involved in the incidents, though they did not specify whether it was driven by the man or someone else.

Anyone who has information on the SUV or the identity of the man is asked to contact the Santa Clara-Ivins Police Department at 435-652-1122 or the Washington County Dispatch at 435-634-5730.
