Update: Man killed in Lindon motorcycle accident identified

LINDON, Utah, July 14, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — A motorcyclist who died after a collision with a truck in Lindon Friday morning has been identified.

The deceased is 29-year-old Brian Scott Hansen from Pleasant Grove, according to Lindon Police Department.

The crash happened just before 7:15 near 550 N. State St., police said.

Details about the crash are still emerging, but initial reports indicate the motorcyclist was riding southbound on State Street when he collided with a truck turning left onto State Street from 550 North.

The motorcyclist was transported by ground ambulance to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries.

It’s not yet clear whether anyone else was injured, or whether citations will be issued.
