Update: Police identify man who died after motorcycle went off SR-128 in Grand County

GRAND COUNTY, Utah, March 4, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — A 56-year-old man died Saturday when his Harley Davidson motorcycle veered off the road on State Route 128.

The man has been identified as Albert Hughes, of Grand Junction, Colo.

According to Utah Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 3:30 p.m. near milepost 15.

Hughes spoke to witnesses, but he collapsed and was unresponsive as medical personnel arrived on scene. CPR was initiated, and a medical helicopter was dispatched, but Hughes was pronounced dead at the scene at about 4:30 p.m.

UHP said he was wearing a helmet, but he had a previous medical history that may have played a role in his death.
