Man in critical condition after hit-and-run in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, April 1, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A man is in critical condition after a hit-and-run in Salt Lake City in the early hours of Sunday morning.

It happened in the area of 1100 W. North Temple about 3:15 a.m.

Investigators say a driver who’d struck a utility pole exited his car and was hit by a passing vehicle which then left the scene of the accident.

The injured man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Police have yet to release his name.
