RIVERTON, Utah Jan. 28, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A man was injured and a pet is missing after an early morning fire in Riverton.

Unified Fire Authority Capt. Dustin Dern told Gephardt Daily crews were called to 13400 S. 1497 West about 1 a.m.

When first responders arrived they found a three-car attached garage with three vehicles inside fully engulfed in flames.

The fire was also spreading to the home.

Firefighters worked to knock down the flames while paramedics attended to an adult male who was found outside the home with burns to both of his arms.

He was taken to the hospital by ground ambulance with what were believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
