SPRINGVILLE, Utah, Dec. 21, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — One man died in a two-vehicle collision Wednesday near Springville.
The accident happened on Interstate 15 at about 1:17 p.m., near mile post 261 when a southbound red passenger car, a 2011 Pontiac Grand Am, lost control and spun across all lanes of traffic. Investigators do not know why driver lost control.
A northbound pickup truck hauling a trailer struck the Grand Am on the driver’s side door. The man driving the Grand Am died at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
The man killed was identified as Gage J. Carter, 18, from Payson.
