KEARNS, Utah, July 10, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Police investigators in Kearns have identified a man killed overnight in an apparent drive-by shooting.
24-year-old Marvin Lopez of West Valley City showed up at Jordan Valley Medical Center gravely wounded at approximately 4 a.m. seeking emergency treatment, but died a short while later.
According to Unified Police, thirty minutes before Lopez showed up at the hospital, numerous calls came in to dispatchers with reports of multiple gunshots being fired near 5600 South and 4220 West.
Investigators said the incidents are connected.
