Police seek suspect after bank robbery in Millcreek

MILLCREEK, Utah, Nov. 27, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Unified Police officials are looking for a suspect after a bank robbery in Millcreek Monday afternoon.

UPD Lt. Brian Lohrke told Gephardt Daily that the suspect hit the Washington Federal bank in Olympus Hills Shopping Center, 3983 S. Wasatch Blvd., at about 1:20 p.m.

The man did not display a weapon, but passed a note to a teller demanding money. He received an unknown amount of cash and fled. Lohrke said it’s unknown what direction he went or whether he was on foot or in a vehicle.

The suspect is described as a male in his 30s, with a scruffy beard, balding on top, wearing a khaki coat.
