Police Confirm Body Found Near Ben Lomond Peak Is Of Missing St. George Man Joshua Easley

WEBER COUNTY, Utah, Nov. 24, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) ─ Police have confirmed the remains recovered Sunday from Ben Lomond Mountain are of Joshua Allen Easley, a St. George man who was last seen April 22, 2014, and whose vehicle was found at a North Ogden trailhead.

Weber County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Lane Findlay on Sunday confirmed Easley’s ID and wallet were found with the remains. On Tuesday, Findlay announced that an examination by the medical examiner determined the remains were those of Easley. No cause of death was determined.

On a Facebook page dedicated to finding the father of two, who was 25 when he disappeared, the following post appeared earlier Tuesday afternoon:

  1. Josh was a nice gie and a nice kid years ago and I have not known many, he really was special, I love you Josh and will miss you forever, rest in peace silly goose!
