RIVERTON, Utah, June 4, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — An 18-year-old motorcycle rider has been hospitalized in critical condition following a crash in Riverton Sunday morning.
The incident happened at 11:05 a.m. when a motorcyclist was traveling westbound on 13400 South., Unified Police Department Detective Ken Hansen told Gephardt Daily.
A 51-year-old man driving a gray Audi turned left at 2040 W. 13400 South, and the motorcycle hit the car, Hansen said.
Detectives are still investigating who may have been at fault and whether factors such as speed may have contributed to the crash.
The motorcycle rider was wearing a helmet.
