WOODS CROSS, Utah, Oct. 9, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Two people have been critically injured in a six-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 South near Woods Cross.

According to a statement released by the Utah Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 8:20 p.m. Sunday when a large food truck that was being towed broke loose from the tow vehicle and was hit by an SUV.

The collision started a chain reaction, which closed the southbound lanes of I-15 for more than an hour, backing up traffic for miles.
