OGDEN, Utah, June 2, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A Murray man was sentenced Friday to two terms of 15 years to life in prison after pleading guilty to charges related to the sexual abuse of two preteen boys from Weber County.

One of the cases sparked an Amber Alert in October of 2016 when the 11-year-old boy disappeared from his South Ogden home.

Weston Ray Kubbe, 38, was sentenced by 2nd District Judge Michael DiReda.

Late last month, Kubbe also was sentenced in a West Jordan courtroom on charges related to the sexual abuse of three teenagers. Sentences there, to run concurrently, add at least 15 years to his prison term.

In all, Kubbe has been charged with sexually abusing six minors.
