Power Restored To 1,500 After DUI Rollover Crash In Cottonwood Heights

COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, Utah, July 12, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — A suspect was arrested for DUI after a crash in Cottonwood Heights that closed a road Tuesday morning and knocked out power to nearly 1,500 customers.

Cottonwood Heights Police said on Twitter the rollover crash at 6800 S. 2300 East just before 9 a.m. shut down 2300 East in both directions.

The crash also took down a power pole, leaving 1,482 customers without power in Cottonwood Heights and Holladay in zip code 84121.

Power was restored at 12:35 p.m.

There is no word yet on the condition of the suspect.
